Greek Digital Nomad Visa

For remote workers and freelancers earning outside Greece.

Greece introduced its Digital Nomad Visa in 2021. It’s a 12-month national visa that can be converted to a 2-year residence permit.

Income requirement

Minimum monthly income of €3,500 net for the main applicant; +20% for a spouse, +15% per child.

Process

  1. Apply at a Greek consulate in your country of residence.
  2. Provide proof of remote employment or self-employment with non-Greek clients.
  3. Show health insurance and accommodation in Greece (a 12-month MAMAXO lease counts).
